- Payment references — records of payments, receipts, and reference numbers. Card and bank details are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
- Device information — basic technical data (device type, app version, and, for collectors, a device identifier) needed to operate and secure the app, including offline collection.
- Location — used only where you enable it for relevant features (for example, verifying a collection location). You can control this in your device settings.

Using the apps
By using the MerchantPlus Council apps you agree to these terms. You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure. The Collector app may be used only by authorised council collectors while assigned to an active collection role.
Payments and receipts
- You are responsible for confirming payment amounts before paying, and for retaining the receipt and reference number issued.
- Collectors must confirm cash received before issuing a receipt, and record collections accurately.
- Bills, assessments, waivers, refunds, and enforcement remain subject to the applicable council rules and local law.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the apps, attempt unauthorised access, or use them for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend access where these terms are breached.

The apps are provided on an "as available" basis. We may update these terms and this policy from time to time; the latest version is always published on this page.
